How to apply

An application for membership is made with a proposer and seconder, both existing members of the Company, who can speak to the candidate’s character and suitability.

The completed application is submitted to the Clerk, who presents it to the Court of Assistants for consideration. Successful applicants are admitted to the Freedom of the Company, and in time may be clothed with the Livery.

If you are interested in applying, the first step is to come along to a Company event to meet members, or to contact the Clerk directly for guidance on finding a proposer and seconder.
